Getting better at the software side
Real projects push harder than coursework does. Almost everything I know came from having to ship something somebody was waiting on, and the list of things I still want to be good at is longer than the list of things I am.
Helping the family business
Containers, storage, and the auto shop. I handle the technical half: the sites, the booking, the software the shop runs on. And a fair amount of the unglamorous half too.
Building an online presence
For the businesses and for me. A shop nobody can find online may as well be closed, so that means sites that turn up in a search, listings that are right, and somewhere to point people when they ask what I do.
